About the Photographer
Michael Hawkes is a young aspiring photographer from Chipping Sodbury just outside of Bristol, England. Photography has been a hobby to him for many years but he is currently turning that passion and drive into becoming professional.
As well as a great love for photography he also enjoys the beautiful countryside that surrounds him. This site is really a collection of the photos and information he has gathered on his journey around the Cotswolds over the past 2 years and it is still growing!
Michael particularly enjoys landscape photography but often does portraiture, events and even product photography, some of which can be viewed in the Photo Gallery.
He has worked with many local businesses and is a member of the Yate and Chipping Sodbury business association. Michael also has an extensive portfolio on show at Stouts Hill, a beautiful 17th century gothic manor house that is now a timeshare. As an owner himself at the timeshare he has spent much time photographing the wonderful house and grounds and now sells his photos to the public with a portion of the profits going to the timeshare.
